“Sharon provided such a wonderful loving service for our attached 6 month old GSP. Regular photos and updates were a part of the service and she went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable. Would recommend Sharon to anybody needing proper care for their fur baby.” – Whitney B.
“Sharon goes over the top, above and beyond what’s expected from a pet host. Our dogs were so happy & healthy to get a breath of fresh air out in the beautiful countryside during their stay. Sharon was able to cater for our dogs dietary requirements diligently & was so genuinely caring for our 2 Jack Russells. Highly recommend heels angels & we will come again.” – Andrew & Rosa B.
“I really appreciate the personal touch and care that Sharon provides my large, energetic dogs. She is happy to feed them their normal raw meals (that I provided) and spends individual time with each dog to meet their needs. She ensured my entire male dog had appropriate interactions with other dogs and that my high-prey drive had safe avenues to provide her mental and physical stimulation. I am grateful to have found Sharon and will definitely use her services again.” – Claire W.
“Sharon has looked after my crew multiple times whether it’s the horses, cats or dogs. I got daily photos and updates of my horses when I was away with their feed and water managed.
My gorgeous spoilt staffy spent the day with Sharon, she picked him up and transported back to her place, gently getting him use to the crate in the back of the ute, where she could view him in the rear view mirror the whole time. He actually didn’t want to come home when I picked him up and kept trying to bolt back into her place – clearly too much fun was had! He was one sleepy baby when we got home.” – Crystal N.
G'Day! I'm Sharon, and I have a lifelong passion for animal welfare and rescue, with a special focus on working breed dogs. With over 30 years of formal dog training experience and considerable success in competitive dog sports, I bring both expertise and heart to everything I do. For more than a decade, I was an obedience instructor with one of the largest dog training clubs in the ACT, before moving to a lovely small acreage in Michelago, NSW.
My experience spans a variety of dog breeds and activities. While I have extensive competition experience with Australian Cattle Dogs and Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dogs, I've also trained and handled my own Jack Russell Terrier and have successfully trialled my family’s Staffordshire Bull Terriers in obedience and agility.
Beyond dogs, I have a deep love for other animals. I've owned three rescue cats, all of whom lived long, healthy lives and coexisted harmoniously with my dogs. I'm also an avid horse enthusiast, caring for three beautiful Appaloosa horses, further reflecting my dedication to animal welfare across different species.
After a lengthy career in IT Sales, I sought a path that aligned more closely with my passions. Finding suitable, high-standard care for my animals during work travels was often a challenge. This need inspired me to create Heels Angels, a service born from my commitment to ensuring animals are well cared for, mentally and physically stimulated, and safely managed.
